Raytheon Technologies commissioned a short 3D animated sequence for their social media channels to showcase their Joint Precision Approach and Landing System. The sequence was assembled in After Effects with the aircraft, the carrier, and its crew all animated in rendered in Autodesk Maya with Arnold. The ocean and weather effects were created and rendered in Unreal 5. The engine exhaust was a mixture of stock elements and 2.5D particle effects made with Red Giant Trapcode Particular.
